The Dead Girl

Pretty good. Great ending. I wish it had taken more time, though, to explore the lives of those affected by her death, when, after all, the whole point of the movie is to explore the lives of those affected by her death. Occasionally the script seemed written or edited--I can tell which--to read better than it watches, a sure sign of an overworkshopped product--that, or a writer working in Hollywood who thinks sound stages are theater in the round.

Nevertheless, I was impressed. Although Brittany Murphy once again fails to persuade me that she is merely acting like a long-collapsed social experiment.
