But the moment you feel that the viciousness of the White Dog is truly the willful viciousness of humanity, a premeditated viciousness, the grisly sharpness of the killer dog's teeth start to gleam with terror and shame and a profound sadness that we have been born as the Earth's most dangerous animal.
