Have you heard of the 9:1 ratio? That's where you have 9 episodes, all of which serve to crescendo in the last 1. Yeah, even longer than it took The Wire to get going. And the supreme thing was that not much happened in that last episode as far as revelation and curiosities satisfied go; there was just the tone and color of people suffering while alive. A truly remarkable, humane, soft, melancholy and uplifting finale to the show's first season about normal people blessed with the gift of turning grief into music. A (Only thing wrong with the finale was that Koko wasn't on the couch next to Slothy watching it.)
