A remake of Late Marriage, not as good because few directors can resist the forces of sentimentality. Makes Late Marriage appear that much better. And Joaquin is more of a goober than is reasonable if he's gonna be romping around with a pouty-artys-gothy-cutesy Gwyneth. C+ Koko: I've had this movie on my Netflix instant list for months but kept procrastinating because I suspected it would suck. Not so bad that it would actually be good, but just bad enough to remain bad. Besides, I have trouble sympathizing with handsome men who must choose between women, all the while whining and being handsome. C+ by proxy.
