It ain't no thing these days to confront religious fervor and reveal the hocus-pocus tomfoolery of having faith in ghosts; then how come how come how come nobody ever says nothing about our zealous slobbering over True Love, which is mostly just as stupid––it requires, apparently, not having much faith at all but a pencil-thin mustache and the capacity for as much vengeance as the evil monsters lurking in the castle? Plus, the brat-faced kid from Wonder Years makes me want to slap him upside the head for being so rude to Columbo. No amount of pomo self-mockery will justify this kind of narcissism. C
