I planned to post on this weeks ago, but I can't decide what to write about it. Neil LaBute makes a great movie, and Paul Rudd, with Anne Hathaway and the muppet from Shortbus, becomes my favorite actor since Liv Ullmann.
Our director must be wildly in control of his materials to take charm and disintegrate it, like a web in water, so quickly, dissipating its attraction with that strange alchemical antibody we call power. And is love more or less terrifying when its simulated? I always knew art students were suspect.
