The Last Days of the San Jose

It borders on exploitation, especially since the owner knew the old San Jose Motel was merely waiting for financing to come through for major renovation. Of course, "merely" took three years and a lot can happen in three years. And so with a handheld camcorder the pain of suffering is captured. And so is the dignity. It is always good to be reminded that nothing is permanent, not motels, not our lives.

Koko: If it turns into anything but an old-timey Spanish mission or chantry, I'm moving.
