The Unforseen

With Barton Springs closed to swimmers for a night summer's screening of a movie about a stranger who comes to town with money, one of my students dove into the springs after the movie finished and the lifeguards sprinted to fish his dripping wet and cold ass out of the sacred water. He received an automatic A for the course, evidence that "it's not growth that's the problem, it's the quality of that growth that matters."
