Shine a Light

Slothrop: When Keats wrote

"Thous till unravished bride of quietness,
Thou foster child of silence and slow time,
Sylvan historian, who canst thus express
A flowery tale more sweetly than our rhyme:"

was he talking about the Stones? Even more pressing is whether Dr. Andrew Cooper is Mick Jagger's doppelganger or whether Mick Jagger is his. For Slothrop swears that the reason Dr. Cooper is never in his office is because he's playing sold out shows in New York City and singing with Buddy Guy. And, slippery readers of ours, have you noticed how Slothrop has become attracted to deep, resonant color? Well, this one has lots of them too. At one point Keith Richards looks like the Abominable Snow Man, all blue and like old ice. So pretty.
