Slothrop: Though it's not artistically creative nor particularly well framed, this documentary let's young students and their teachers tell their stories, and we see how sad, tough, and truly fucked up the unluck of the draw is for some kids. There are many good people doing their best to overcome the odds but the fight is brutal and unforgiving. But The Wire does it better.
