Religion, in its purest form, is improvised virtuosity in the face of everything. Buck is a virtuoso with horses, and by extenstion, people; consequently he shows us there's no difference between a horse and God. You don't need words to get there––in fact, its often best not to use them. Instead, "be gentle with everything you do, and firm in how you do it."
